AN EXHIBITION OF DREAM-DOLLARS

"Exceptionally beautiful currency"
-- The New York Times

Dream-Dollars were recently in a gallery show in New York City. Entitled, "We Could Have Invited Everyone," this exhibition travelled to America from the UK. The original show, which was in the Reg Vardy Gallery in Sunderland, England, included ANTARCTICA Dream-Dollars. Photos of the UK show are available in the picture gallery below.

This new show also displayed moneyart, stamp art, and other ephemora from artists around the world who have created their own countries or currency systems. It was at the Andrew Kreps Gallery in Chelsea. The show got great reviews from The New York Times, ArtForum, Time Out New York, and more. The exhibition ran from June 24th to July 29th, 2005.

The entrance was a spectacle of flags from the many nations.


The main room featured a map of the globe, depicting the fictional states' locations.


The opening was well attended.


A wide array of art and artifacts were on display.
