The
Winter dollar was dedicated to the noted explorer, Ronald Sutcliffe
and his wife Eunice. An experienced polar explorer and guide, Sutcliffe
served as the Colony's Expedition Leader. He had been the first to set
foot on the continent of Antarctica, but that fact was kept a secret
to preserve integrity and anonymity of the utopian colony. The reverse
of the note pictures the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World: the Pyramids
of Egypt, Colossus of Rhodes, Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, Statue of
Zeus at Olympia, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Mausoleum at Halicarnassus,
and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

The
Spring Mint bears the images of Samuel and Constance Brundt, the leaders
of the church that created the Lost Colony. Samuel Brundt was a well-known
author, philosopher and mystic; author of many tracts and books, including
the famous Codex Celastrus.
Constance Brundt was the Dream Prophetess of the church, leading her
community with her gift of dreaming. The reverse features the Seven
Archangels: Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael, Raguel, Zerachiel, and
Remiel (according to Enoch I, the earliest
reference to the Seven).

The
famed artist and inventor, Gaston Montpelier and his wife Madeleine,
are featured on the Summer note. Montpelier created many new inventions
and machines that helped the Lost Colony not only survive, but flourish.
Unfortunately, some of his most powerful inventions, like his Fire
of Heaven, were lost with him on that mysterious day back
in 1899. On the reverse of this bill are the Seven Celestial Spheres
of the ancient philosophers: the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter,
and Saturn.

On
the Autumn note we find the portraits of powerful shipping magnate,
Angus Kilbourne and his wife, Catherine. A colony on the far-flung continent
of Antarctica could have been possible without the backing of serious
financial investment. Kilbourne's shipping company not only backed the
Colony financially, but also built a fleet of ships for the sole purpose
of building, populating, and supplying the Colony. The reverse pictures
the Seven Seas: the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, Indian
Ocean, China Sea, The East Aftrican Ocean, and the West African Ocean.
